| VANITIES |
Vanity units are available in a wide range of configurations to suit different room layouts and to harmonise the overall room aesthetics, in particular the selected cubicle system.
Fabricated vanities are manufactured from laminated coreboard or solid compact laminate, the latter being recommended in areas of high humidity. For both types, a wide choice of alternative edge and upstand details are available, and the vanity top can be formed to suit any shape of proprietary handbasin.
Composite vanities are manufactured from solid surface material, and are a natural complement to prestige washrooms. Composite vanities can be curved on plan give complete freedom in the profiling and sculptural shaping on edges, upstands, handbasins and other features. |
| POSTFORMING |
The term ‘postforming’ is used to describe the bending process applied to specially developed grades of laminate which, whilst possessing all the well known properties of standard grade high pressure laminates, can also be formed into simple cylindrical curves of a concave or convex nature.
Curved surfaces with their absence of visible seams are often more pleasing and less harsh than sharp edges on internal and external angles and will eliminate joints in which dirt and water can accumulate.
